BBC Countryfile magazine

Miranda has been writing regularly for Countryfile magazine since 2009 including the main feature in the March 2009 issue called “Last Chance to See”, documenting iconic places around the coastline that might be lost in the next 50 years due to coastal erosion and sea level rise.  From now on she will be writing features about her work and countryside interests as well as articles for the sister publication ‘Coast’ that accompanies the well loved series.

Before her recent charity abseil 100ft down the Avon Gorge to help raise money for the campaign to stop whaling, Miranda talked to Suzanne Savill about her passion for marine conservation and The barbarism of whaling.


Diver magazine

Miranda regularly writes for DIVER magazine

about her experiences underwater. These have

included diving whilst filming the BBC2 series

"COAST".  Miranda’s icy exploits in Russia on

an ice diving expedition were featured in Diver

in a six-page article and on the front cover. She

has also documented her visit to the Maldives in

search of Manta Rays.

Miranda has also written features regarding

diving celebrities, diving in Greece, her work on

the popular programme 'Wreck Detectives' as

well as other diving experiences in Tobago.

She reviewed a family diving holiday in Dahab, Egypt last year and the July 2011 edition featured her recent trip to St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Miranda is a regular contributor to DIVE magazine, and has reviewed her freediving experiences in an article for DIVE

magazine in the December 2010 issue. The July 2011 edition featured her most recent article celebrating the 50th anniversary of the sinking of the Bianca C in Grenada.

WRITING

Miranda enjoys sharing her filming experiences in various articles which she writes for a wide range of publications. She is also an accomplished writer and is currently writing her 3rd book. 2013 sees Miranda review a recent diving trip to the Caribbean with her family, and a chilly canal boat holiday on the Kennet and Avon.
